IS NATURAL WINE?
Natural wine has no legal definition, but you know it when you see it!
Natural wine is a movement built on the ideas of sustainable and chemical-free viticulture, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. The result is wines called alive, pure, honest, and real—the wine of the past and the wine of the future.
These wines can be orange, cloudy, funky, fresh, glou glou, earthy, sharp, and juicy. But they don’t have to be any of those things, despite what people think. Any style of wine can be natural. Sound juicy? There’s so much more to learn.
